With a passion for connecting clients to the right property, I bring energy and straight answers to every transaction. I have called the Northwest home for more than 30 years. Before real estate I spent years in pastoral ministry and a season in law enforcement, and I trained at South Puget Sound Community College, Life Pacific, and the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Center.

I am a former certified home inspector. My family runs a local construction company, and I have hands-on background in landscaping, facility maintenance, septic repair, and Washington pool and spa design and operation. That is the lens I use on houses, lots, and problems that show up mid-deal.

I focus on residential transactions, buying and selling for clients, but also land development, and manufactured-home installs in Thurston, Mason, Lewis, and Grays Harbor Counties. Land, utilities, and manufactured homes

Western Washington needs more houses ordinary families can actually buy. A quality manufactured home on a developed lot is how I help meet that need. I work with manufacturer reps who carry the better lines, and I set the house to a higher standard than a typical install: concrete-block skirting, finished so it sits as close to a stick-built foundation look as the home and the site allow. I develop the land and take it through the install: feasibility, site work, utilities, and a home set and finished so it is ready to live in. I handle the steps that usually stall these projects: septic, power, access, drainage, and the coordination between the contractor, the dealer, and the county. I also work with several lenders on construction loans and other financing, so the lot and the house are not stuck waiting on one bank. The result is a solid house on a buildable lot, at a price that still makes sense. Here are some of the builds.

Buying and selling

Buying or selling a house should not feel like you are on your own. In Thurston, Mason, Lewis, and Grays Harbor, I stay on the deal from the first conversation through closing.

If you are selling, I price it from real comps, tell you what is worth fixing and what is not, and get the photos, the remarks, and the marketing out so the right buyers see it. I handle showings, feedback, and the negotiation when an offer comes in, including the inspection and appraisal bumps that usually rattle a sale.

If you are buying, I help you sort what you can afford from what you actually want, set up the searches, and walk the house with you. I look for the problems an inspector is going to flag, write the offer, and negotiate the repairs or the price so you are not guessing. You hear from me when something changes, not after it is already a problem.

My Tribe

Born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, my family moved to Washington, and I grew up in Olympia. I graduated from Olympia High School in 1994, met Angie, a Tumwater High graduate, and we married in 1998.

For the next 25 years, Angie and I served through pastoral ministry in Pierce and Thurston Counties. I also spent a season in law enforcement. Due to some physical challenges a new chapter followed, one rooted in compassion for people who are less able. I care about connecting them with housing and the resources they need to accomplish their American dream.

Today, Angie, our two daughters, our golden retriever Tessa, and Junipurr the cat are home in the Pacific Northwest. We swim, get outside, and spend the time we can with friends and family.
